So I was trying to set individual notification tones for a couple of apps and would like to shut off the sound for the rest but I don't have the option in the notifications. Did that go away? (I had switched to some for a while so haven't been with Samsung for a while)

Thanks in advanceView attachment 335800Screenshot_20210809-125438_Settings.jpg

Yeah the notifications you change in your screen shot is global, if you want different tone for individual apps long press that app>tap info>notification>tap each category to get submenu to change it.

Thanks it's not giving me that option. The first screen shot I added is what options in seeing when I long press the app

Dumb question do you know if the android Central app allowed the changes? I might have to call Samsung because I don't have the option there either

AC forum apps does , in my opinion much better then AC app which is limited.Screenshot_20210809-150931_Settings.jpg

Did you try to access the settings this way?

Pull down your shade from the top. Press the gear icon in the top right corner. Third category down should be NOTIFICATIONS. Tap that category, next screen should show "recently sent." It will display the last three or so apps to send a notification. Just below should be "More." Tap More and you should get a screen that shows a list of apps that send notifications. Open each and you will get a list of the type of notification the app will send.Open that and you will get "Alert" or "Silent" -- if you select "Alert", you can then select "Sound" to define the sound that will be triggered for that specific notification in that specific app.

Hope that helps. Cheers
