Sound & shot

How does one send/share a 'Sound & Shot' photo? I tried Gmail, ChatON and SMS. Nothing seems to work, as it only sends the photo without any sound. Are these meant to be sent at all?! Am I going crazy?!

Same here.

I think it is for tagging your photos. Maybe sharing via NFC with another device.

Tagging would make sense, but the commercial Samsung made with the Spanish mother and son gives me the impression that it's supposed to be sent. Samsung Galaxy S4 - Sound Shot - YouTube. They can't share via NFC if he's out travelling in another country! >_< . I think Samsung lied to us.

EDIT: I contacted Samsung and asked them this. I even showed them their own commercial and she told me that "this video was manipulated". WTF?!

Did you send these to another S3 or S4. I believe thats the only way they will work.

That's what it is, it needs to be sent to other s4 users only for it to work

Hi Cmjkxa,

I don't know if you're still having the issue but I just thought I would throw my 2 cents in and see if it helps...when sending the sound n shot image to the other S4 can you get them to download the image to your gallery and then view it from there. I think that the image needs to be saved first before you'll be able to hear the sound along with the image.

I sent one to another s4. At first it didn't work. Then was told , just had to download (attached it self to phone). Then it worked with the gallery. Obviously make sure your volume is up. Just like last post said.
