Spam filter missing?

I just got the S21 plus last week and I noticed that there is no built in spam filter in the dialer. I know that Samsung has one and I was wondering where it is. Could it be because I bought the Verizon version instead of the unlocked version?. Any thoughts?

I'm assuming you looked in settings.

Verizon does have their own call filtering so it's possible they took it out.

I think I made a mistake buying the Verizon version. I paid for the phone up front so I'm not getting any break on the monthly payments I wonder what other features Verizon disabled.

They remove the ability to connect to find my mobile which is Samsung's version of Googles find my device but find my mobile has more features.

I have the free Verizon "Call Filter" on my S21 but I don't see a way to block a call after I answer and find it is spam. It looks like the only option for blocking is to copy the number and paste it into the Call Filter form which a actually worse than the call itself. Am I missing something or do you need to pay the extra $3 a month to get that? I miss the Screen option on the Pixel.

Most likely the ability to unlock the bootloader - they do that on other phones. (That's not a problem - unless you ever want to flash anything to the phone - like TWRP or Orange Fox [or a different ROM].)
