Spam filter problems

I've already sent a PM to an admin about this, but until I hear from him I want to know why is it that every time I try to post on the main website of any of the mobile nations site I get "Your submission has triggered the spam filter and will not be accepted. If you feel this is in error, please report that you are blocked"? Considering how many people post links, one worded responses, profanity, trolltences and beyond it's weird how I'm being blocked when I haven't done any of that. How do I unblock myself from this filter that is preventing me from travelling liberally?

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of posts are being blocked? The filters can work in some strange ways. I just recently tried to post a response to someone that included a couple of quote marks (I was comparing 7" to 8" tablets), and for some strange reason, the site prevented me from posting it. Changing the quote marks to the word "Inch" corrected the problem. Why? It's a mystery ...

You would have to be more specific as to what is your posting that is causing this pop up?

It could be a number of things triggering our automated filters such as profanity, links, uncommon characters/symbols, currency amounts and more. These are put in place simply to help curb spamming and yes its unfortunate but otherwise we would have hundreds of posts each day from spam.

Your welcome to drop me a PM explaining more in detail, screenshots of what your trying to post and we can assess the situation from there.

I've been trying to post regular commentary as response to the articles on the main Android website. For example: Simon Sage posts an article about Lamborghini phones and I respond "These are great looking phones, but I'll have to pass" and the filter is triggered. I also tried to post a comment on another article today and the same thing happened.

Thanks for responding. Now with CES over and behind us our teams can get back in control of the forums and address any issues like this that may have popped up over the last week. I'll make sure they see this thread.
