Speaker output loudness is very poor

I tried several P10 Plus models on display at several various retail locations and all had poor output for Google Maps. Typed in an address on Google Maps then hit navigate button. Sound was very low and could barely be heard. If driving this smartphone is not good to use in car for Google Maps as audio output from speaker is way too low and can barely be heard.

I went to 4 different retail shops in Taipei that had the P10 Plus out on display. I tried all of them and all had the same issues. A friend of mine in China said not to buy this phone as it has a very negative image now in a China due to all the issues it has.

Ah that's your answer then.
You can get apps that amplify audio, but they can damage the device (audio amplifier) drivers and speakers..
Have a look on play store...

One thing you could try is... buying a device unlocked (unbranded) then removing the bloatware, through either disabling it in the apps drawer or rooting and removing them.

I do feel for people living in Asian regions... the bloatware you guys have to deal with out of the box is horrific...
