I have searched and found no solutions to this topic.

I am rooted and have been switching between Vicious and Paranoid Android. Yesterday I was browsing through the ringtones in PA when all.of a sudden I had no volume, nothing was coming out of my speakers at all. I checked the volume with a headset and it was working perfectly.

At this point I switched over to Vicious 4.1.1 CM10 and experienced the same issue. I did a complete wipe prior to flashing the restored Vicious Rom.

So obviously this issue is not Rom related. Any suggestions prior to me going back to stock and having VEX check it out?

If you are getting now sound what so ever even on a different ROM, I hate to say it but that sounds like something went really wrong. Only thing that I can think of would be to restore it back to 100% factory defaults and see if that fixes it. If that doesn't, unless someone else can figure out why this is happening you might be going to Verizon.

So I am assuming that you don't get any sound with YouTube or music player as well? Do you plug in and unplug your headphones a lot? Your phone might be stuck in headphone mode, meaning it still thinks the headphones are plugged into it. Maybe the headphone jack is malfunctioning. Try plugging and unplugging the headphones a few times while a song is playing to see if something changes.

Thanks for the suggestion. Still the same problem though. My old Palm Pre had the headphone jack problem and I thought that that could be the issue, but I tried plugging and unplugging the headset and it didn't change anything.
