Speakerphone Volumn Mystery Builds

One of the only issues with this phone has been the sub-par speakerphone. I did experience an interesting phenom the other day. I was talking on my bluetooth and switched over to the speakerphone(while still in-call), and quickly experienced a dramatically higher volumn. Now, as soon as i touched the volumn button, it reverted back to the lower levels. I am guessing this would suggest the speakerphone has higher sound output potential, but something with the software is preventing it.

Any thoughts? Heard of this happening before? Sound logical?

I know its not the same phone but my inspire speaker is like that. The ringers that are stock on the phone are fairly low. I downloaded some somewhere on these forums and I can hear those ringtones in the middle of the mall on Saturday afternoon.
