Speakers on Tab S

Recently, I bought a Samsung S 5 to replace my Iphone 5. So far I am very happy with the S5. So I was thinking of getting a Tab S to replace my Ipad Air. In a side by side test, however, I noticed that the speakers of the Samsung were not as good as those of the Ipad Air. Since I often use the Ipad without headphones, this is a concern. Have people found the speakers on the Samsung Tab S to be acceptable in everyday use?

I use it everyday and so far have no complaints. Sure, they're not Boom sound, but for everyday use, they're pretty good. The only time I struggle to hear the audio coming out is when playing a movie and cooking with the extractor on... obviously the sound form the fan overpowers the tablet.
