Spec advice please!

I am currently running the following specs and I am looking for any additional advice on making the EVO run like a charm.

Rooted EVO
2.2 Froyo
Baseband 2.15
Kernel 2.6.32 HTC-Kernel
.6 Software number
Webkit 3.1
PRI 1.40
PRL 60669
Quadrant Benchmark test 1160

Interesting issue I ran the Linpack test after upgrading to 2.2 and it was screaming at a 0.14 seconds now it slowed to 2.4 seconds on average.

Also, I really enjoyed the tether speed while on 2.1 but since upgrading to 2.2 after a week or so it took a major decrease in speed to a point I can't use it even with the new Pre8.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out CM6, and a Snap kernel.

All i can say is that the linpack has slowed due to their update. Linpack was updated and ever since, the test takes longer.
