I'm a psychologist and need a calendar where I can delete or edit one event in a recurring sequence of events without affecting the entire sequence. So, client A comes every Monday at 2, and cancels one week. I need to be able to either edit that week by writing "cancel" or delete that appointment without it affecting all of client A's other appointments. Evo calendar won't do this. Does anyone know of a calendar app that will?

Just FYI, you're referring to the Sense UI (this is created by HTC) calendar app.

I can't seem to edit single occurrences of a recurring meeting on the app. This is less of a deal for me, actually I find that for setting recurring meetings, nothing beats using Outlook.

Thanks to both of you...what is the android app above this one that xorbe is referring to? Appreciate your responses!

xorbe is referring to the fact that your issue is not device specific, but rather app specific (or in this case, applies to all sense powered phones). Androidcentral has several forums, this forum is for issues relating specifically to the Evo. Xorbe is suggesting you try the Android App forum which can be browsed to by clicking on the Forums link.

i.e. here: http://forum.androidcentral.com/android-applications/

I am a psychologist also.........ok, I kid. I'm a beauty professional......almost the same thing? Lol... syncing with Gmail, my calendar absoutely does this. I have recurring appts every 2 weeks and when I need to move someone it asks "move this event, or all events in the series?" - if you're not syncing with Gmail, why not?

specific calendar needs

My problem w/google calendar that I use my phone to make changes at the office, not my computer. I believe it wouldn't work that way because changes to the calendarneed to be made on the computer and then sync to the phone. Thanks so much for the suggestion!
