Do you have any issues with your note 8 rocking back and forth slightly in the presidio grip case? I have the black/black version and it rocks back and forth when I press down on the phone or when I am typing with it faced up.

I hadn't noticed it, but now that you mention it, do get some rocking from top to bottom because there are no rubber strips in the area at the bottom. I don't get any side to side though.

Interesting, I don't have any top to bottom but definitely side to side, it almost looks like the case is warped when I look at it without the phone in it. I put a small piece of paper at the bottom right and it rocks around less.

If anyone is near a Sam's Club, I just purchased one of these cases for $30. They had 10 or 12 of them out in graphite color. I love the grippiness of it and switched to it after using my Spigen Rugged Armor Extra for a week, after adding a bunch of grip tape because it was so slippery.

Sweet price. I'll probably check it out so that I can change colors now now and then.

I had a Presidio case on my S7 and I like it better than the Otterbox Commuter I got for my Note 8. I will be switching cases.

Absolutely more protection. The Alcantara is completely open on the bottom.

@felloffthetruck Do you have the Speck Presidio Grip case? If so, I might wait for you to get a tempered glass screen protector so I can find out what fits with that case. I'm waiting on the Bodyguardz full adhesive to come out, hoping it will fit but still not sure.

Yes, I have the grip and I also have the Zagg Glass curve and they work great together.
I have about 7-8 different cases and the Zagg Glass works perfect with all of them.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not crazy about the Zagg because of only adhesive on the edges. I'm hoping some good case friendly ones, other than the Whitestone, come out soon so I can have a better experience with my phone.

Me too but after looking at that Bodyguardz Pure Arc ES install video I'm not too sure.

Wow, that doesn't look great, either. I might be stuck with this crappy Skinomi film on mine, then. I'll have to wait and see other full adhesive options or maybe wait for Boxwave to release their Clear Touch Crystal film for the N8. It's supposed to be out in a few weeks, according to their response to my email.

I know some prefer the Candyshell over the new Presido that has taken its place. Anyway, it looks like Speck is going to make a Candyshell version for the Note 8.

The Candyshell has a glossy/shiny finish on the back that scratches easy while the Presido has a flat/textured finish.

I have the black/black version as well and really like the grip. However, I have a hard time poking in the s-pen to release it and take it out as my thumb hits the edge of the case between the s-pen opening and speaking opening. Anyone else having this issue?

I do that as well. You can get the Spen out, but it's not AS easy as some other cases I've tried. If there's any negative to this case - that's it.

So far, the Whitestone seems to be the primary choice on the forums & it does fit with the Presidio.

I love my black/black presidio grip on my black Note 8. I have tried several other cases (ex tech 21 tactical; samsung rugged protective cover; Incipio dual pro; etc.) and by far the presidio grip offers the greatest protection w the slimmist profile.

I also tried the zagg glass screen protector and it def lowers the touch sensitivity of the device, so I'm going naked for now.
