Does the Monarch work well with the Zagg? No lifting? Any chance for a pic to see the edges?

Yes, the Monarch works 100% with the Zagg Glass curve. Plenty of clearance, no problems at all.
I'll get a picture up in the next couple of days as soon as I get back home.

Looked at them today. The clear Speck case was $30 at sams. Not a bad looking case but would offer nowhere near the drop protection the Defender does. Looked better made than the clear Symmetry case. If I wanted something with a bit less bulk I'd give the speck a shot.

The main problem with the grip case is that the rubber is easy to separate from the hard plastic near the charge port and S-Pen areas. I was swapping cases yesterday and it was pulling apart at the top left edge. Not worth $44. with these flaws.

What do you think about the Speck clear case for drop protection? Would you consider it heavy duty rugged? Mobilereviewseh has done Speck reviews before and the iphone screens don't hold up when tested.

I don't have the clear one so I'm not sure. I've had the Speck clear for past phones and you needed a crow bar to get the phone out of the case.
