Speedtest.net Results Here

damn, getting crappy speeds in NYC.
3.60/3.07 is my best

About 3.6/8.7 is my best. 2.5 - 3.5 down and around 6.5 up seems to be the norm. Downstream is highly variable though.

I was getting much better results when I used a Bionic for a week a few months back ... but who knows, no doubt a bunch more 4G phones appeared in the city in the last quarter and maybe some of VZW's 4G issues from last week are still lingering. I'm also downtown and surrounded by steel and concrete, which can't be helping!

Edit to add: either way, even 2.5/6.5 is better than the intermittent 40kbps down, 10kbps up I was getting on AT&T's 3G before yesterday!

For those of you getting relatively slower speeds, you might try selecting a different nearby server. By default, Speedtest seems to pick the closest one. Sometime the 2nd or 3rd closest may be the fastest.

Agreed and I've noticed that the Comcast servers always seem to be the fastest from my experience.

In my interior office (way in the interior) in Arlington, Va., speeds with two bars of LTE:

1. 4.9Mbps up/882kbps down
2. 9.25Mbps up/985kbps down
3. 3.96Mbps/1.12Mbps

Note: I could get barely get AT&T 3G signal at all in this same office, so I'm not complaining...

New Orleans using Cox Business server

Ping: 157ms
Download: 24.82Mbps
Upload: 14.16Mbps

Seattle, WA
26 Down, 16 Up, 30ms Ping

Its hard for me to believe it but this thing is faster than my home Comcast connection... :D
