SPen case with front screen showing...

Are there any S-pen cases out there that doesn't cover the front screen? The one Samsung is offering looks like it covers the front screen. Am I wrong?

You are correct; looks like it covers the outside screen. Am sure there'll be plenty of covers with built in holders with no front cover soon.
I used the $200 instant credit toward it when pre-ordering the ZF3 from Samsung. I got it truly to get protection right away and an Spen; not a user of these type of folio cases.

Hey there... good question! When I heard front screen was covered with a "flap", was hoping it was like their cool LED covers for the Notes etc. Upon reading their description, no such luck!
So it remains to be seen for its purpose other than protection.... we'll see soon enough. Woohoo!

They should have made a case with the s Pen without the cover as another option

I ordered that from zoarah.com on 8/19. Shipped late last night. Since it is international not sure when it is coming. I thought it was interesting so I bought it. See if I'll like it better than the Samsung case with spen. Lol

Please update this thread with your experience with the case. If it was solid black and not transparent I would be down, not feeling the clear look.

I got the Samsung flip case today. Definitely not worth the money. The flap makes the phone really awkward to hold when the screen is open. And it also doesn't stay in place on the front screen.

And no: doesn't add any functionality whatsoever. The only good thing is that you can detach the pen pouch. It'll just leave the pen in there and throw it in the backpack.

Yeah not crazy with the flip cover , going look for something different, but its a nice device with limited hands on do to being at work

Hmm, isn't there a magnet that keeps the cover on the front screen? I feel like it would be just like some of the other flip cases that Samsung has, but I can see that since it doesn't attach closer to the hinge and the SPen holder being there, it does indeed seem awkward to use. I won't get mine until Friday. I'll probably mostly use it to house the SPen. lol

That's interesting - the video review that I saw of it said there was a magnet holding it down and when opened, the screen woudl turn on, and off when closed. That sucks.
