That's interesting - the video review that I saw of it said there was a magnet holding it down and when opened, the screen woudl turn on, and off when closed. That sucks.

Screen does turn on and off when open or close but no magnet to keep it closed it will flip open if moved around.

Going to guess it'll look really bad since the hinge portion that holds the pen will be flopping around since it's not secured down with anything.

in the setup, there was a page that mentioned that the phone does have magnets and to keep the device away from credit cards, medical devices and such.

I think there might be magnets in the device but are very weak so as to not cause internal problems.

I guess I won't be using my magnetic vent phone holder then.

Yeah the lack of staying closed via magnet for the flip cover is a deal breaker. I have a Ringke folio on my Fold 2 that stays secure via magnet, and it has the benefit of sliding over and staying in place when the phone is unfolded. Will look at other options.

Spigen made a great case with s pen for the Ultra s21. No cover and strong material but without the ability to insert the pen into the device we will never be able use the phone flat. This might allow Samsung to call this an upgrade for the Fold 4.

I am glad I used my $100 on Aramid cover for backup

Good point. Just checked by placing something to completely cover the screen and it did not turn off.

Actually just realized the proximity sensor is only active during phone calls.

I ordered that from zoarah.com on 8/19. Shipped late last night. Since it is international not sure when it is coming. I thought it was interesting so I bought it. See if I'll like it better than the Samsung case with spen. Lol
