Spen recognition problem

I use the note 5 and i was having issue with spen recognition and after some researching i found the problem to be the 3rd party case that i had installed. You see there us a electromagnetical coil which lies under the screen and spans the entire screen and is responsible for the working of the sPen and that is what sense the pens activity. But the case being a flip cover had a magnet to hold the front cover onto the phone. This magnet was interfering with the coil and thus the problem was only near the magnets.

Yeah, some cases just don't think about that and use super-strong magnets. The Note 10.1 was also notorious for having trouble with cases and people not being able to swipe down on the notification bar because of it.

Glad it was just the magnet and not a bigger hardware problem!
