Spigen Neo Hybird vs. Incipio DualPro cases

I have never needed a shell case for any smartphone that I've owned as I typically wear my phone in a leather belt holster on my hip. This time I'm thinking about buying a shell case for the Pixel 3 but still wearing my phone in a leather belt holster therefore I'm looking for a shell case that will provide the added degree of protection I'm looking for but I want one that is thin enough so that it doesn't add a lot to the length, width and thickness of the overall phone. At this point I've somewhat narrowed down my choices to the Spigen Neo Hybrid and the Incipio Duelpro. Since I don't know much about either case I'm hoping that I can at least get some feedback from someone that has used either one or both of these cases on their Pixel 2. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The best protection I've found (and all of my phones have been in one for over 5 years) is the Otterbox Defender. (The belt clip comes with it.) I've never dropped a phone more than about 3 feet, but I did have one flung at a wall screen-first (caught the wireless charging cable with my elbow) and was sure that the phone was done for. Nope. Not a scratch on the phone, case, wall - nothing. That was about 3 years ago. The phone still works.

I have the Incipio Dualpro case on my Pixel 2. I think it's a great case, it doesn't add a lot of bulk but it's not a super thin case, either.

Here's my review of it:
"This is a great case, it's a 2-piece case with an inner soft TPU layer, and an outer hard plastic layer with a soft coating. The buttons are covered but still very clicky with each press. All openings are cut properly. This case feels great in the hand & feels very protective on my phone. The only thing I wish was different would be if there was more room for a metal plate for a magnetic mount between the 2 layers, or if that was built into the case. I did insert a thin metal plate but it has a very slight bulge on the back of the phone (not visually noticeable, but it's there. Other than this, this is a perfect case, it looks good & protects nicely."

My only update to my review, now that I've had the case about a year - the back has settled/stretched enough so I no longer even feel the TINY bulge in the back from the thin metal plate I use with a magnetic car mount. I'm really picky about cases, this one was about the 6th one I tried & the only one that really worked for me.

Thanks for the info. Since posting this query on the forum I decided to order the Spigen Neo Hybrid as it was less expensive and got great reviews elsewhere on the internet. I ordered it from Amazon and paid extra for 2 day shipping and then they screwed up my order twice regarding the 2 day shipping so to make amends Amazon has credited me for the cost of the case and the shipping so the case is now free so If I don't like it, I'm not out any money and can get the Incepio Duopro case instead. Thanks for your feedback.

I'm a klutz who considers my Pixel a major expense. I've been using an Encased holster with the Spigen Neo-Hybrid case. For me, it gives me the convenience and comfort of a holster with the protection of a good plastic shell.

This is the one I'm using now and I'll get one for the Pixel 3 when they're available.

I cannot comment about the Spigen case x but have been using the Incipio Dual Pro for a couple weeks. I like it very much and am thrilled they went back to the soft touch feel on the back of the case. The version for the Moto Z2 Play was slicker on the back.
I agree with everything posted by Hypnotoadd, with the exception of the comments about metal plate, since I don't use one.
