Spotify app not appearing on my galaxy watch

I'm having the same problem. Here's a fix:

Galaxy Store -> My page-> All -> Watch

That's your list of previously installed apps. Find and install Spotify.

Something is up with the Galaxy Store. The timer app is eve missing.

Glad it's not just me

The 'new look' galaxy store is buggy. I got stuck on 'installing' for a couple of watch faces. Even though they had been installed on the watch. Had to force close galaxy store. It's also badly designed for searching for watch apps as you have to press watch on the bottom bar, hit the search button, then press watch, then search for an app. Who on earth designed that one?!

By the way, Timer seems back on there, but not Spotify.

Thanks @arunma. Just paired my watch with my s10+ and lost spotify. I knew I could get it from history but couldn't work out where that history was.

Spotify doesn’t even appear in the galaxy apps store...maybe it’s a bug? Not a good start since i got the galaxy watch for the Spotify app so it was like my Apple Watch with the Apple Music.

Strangely I'm not seeing the timer. I'm not even seeing it in my list of previously installed apps. So I now have a watch that can browse the web and read my heart rate, but has no countdown timer. :/

Just searched for Spotify, and it's showing up as well now. I guess Samsung fixed the Galaxy Store.

I know people love Spotify but can I recommend Tidal? It is much higher audio quality, is catching up on content, and it offers discounts to United States Military Veterans. I am not sure of its availability outside the US. It works great on Galaxy Watch.

Looks like there is an update to the spotify app.

I saw that, and I noticed that the app no longer absurdly makes you specify whether to stream over LTE or Wi-Fi. It will just use whatever connection is available.

Now I just hope they fixed the bug where clearing the Spotify cache also logs me out and forces me to use my absurdly long Spotify-assigned user name to log back in.

This new Spotify update looks really promising. I can now stream in 'Standalone' mode which is using phone Bluetooth when available, rather than WiFi. Offline mode now allows you to shuffle play which bizarrely you couldn't do previously. And I've stayed logged in all day. Maybe they've finally fixed it?

One thing they still haven't implemented though, which annoys me, is an option to filter for downloaded playlists only and the playlists are still all in a seemingly random order. So, if like me, you've got loads of playlists but only one downloaded to the watch, you have to scroll right through the list until you've found it.

I like that now you can log in by pairing with your phone. When I signed up for Spotify I used my FB account, so I got a pre-assigned super long alphanumeric Spotify username which takes forever to enter on my watch. Great improvement!

But yeah I also want to be able to listen to podcasts.
