Spotify just hangs

Hi, no matter if I clear the cache, Spotify just hangs as the pictures show. Any help is appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you also clear the app data for Spotify (not just the cache)? And did you also reboot the phone?

Is the head unit a stock factory-installed one, or is it 3rd party?

It's a standard Vauxhall Corsa car 2021 unit in the car. As though restarting the phone fixed it, I'm furious. Thanks for your help.
