Spotify vs Rdio vs all access

Which do you use? While I would love to use all access as my main, it's data usage is putting a bad taste in my mouth and putting me off to it. Plus offline downloading is hilariously slow.

Right now I'm kinda weaving between all three to see which I like better. I don't use radios social stuff. It's interface is nicer, for sure, but I'm finding Spotify loads up and plays my stuff faster than Rdio.

I do have my music in the google music cloud, but again it's data usage is a deal breaker for right now I think.

It's only out because of its retarded data usage. And the fact pinning is unreliable or slow, at least for me. Unless I'm doing something wrong

Spotify for me gives the better experience all around, just need to get used to the setup like anything else. Google will probably improve the service once it starts making enough money off it. But I avoid Google anyway as a rule because they always have a hidden agenda. I'm only interested in the music.

Rdio has better sound quality than Google Play Music. Thus I'm sticking with Rdio. The difference is night and day.

I'll have to check Rdio out...have tried both Google All Access and Spotify...AA is way too slow, a data hog, and I agree with the OP that pinning music to my device is incredibly complicated. Spotify generally works but I'm having a hard time getting the desktop client to recognize my devices to transfer music over....come on Rdio-work for me, please!

Thought I might have been the only one experiencing those issues with all access.

I just got my reminder email from Google stating how my subscription will renew and I will start being charged in a few days. Not sure that I want to stick with them just yet.

The pinning/offline downloading does take a ridiculous amount of time.
I get quite a bit of force closes.
It does not start to stream as quickly as Spotify. Even the 'pinned' music does not start all that fast.
And the album art is still all screwed up. Not a huge deal at all but just figured I would throw it in there.

All Access's radio feature is weak. It puts together artists that have no business being played in the same station. Pandora it is not.

Apparently the update is fixing the downloading and data usage issue.

So well see how that works. But it does fix my two issues with all access.

Question: if I signed up for the trial, but chose to cancel, can I resubscribe once my original 30 days are up and still get the special pricing if its before their June 30th cut off date for that?

Good question. I could see it going either way......

I would be interested in what their hidden agenda for google music is?

Well, now I have an answer - My credit card used for the trial was replaced by Discover with a new account due to some fraud and Google couldn't bill the account. They cancelled my subscription when it was time to bill. I was able to sign back up, got another 30 days trial and discounted pricing.

Anyone know of a good 3rd party EQ app that sounds good using Spotify? I've been trying to find one that sounds as good as the one that's built into the Google Music streaming app.

Edit: I was able to find the EQ in the settings menu of Spotify.
