Hello all!

Loving the phone in general but I get this spring feeling when I tap the phone. Mainly when I tap the back of the phone. It feels like there is a spring inside has gives the phone a slight vibration when I do it. Its audible if you put your ear to it.

Research on google says the S4 did this as well just wondering if it is a defect. Do you guys and gals get this? It also effects haptic feedback if I turn it up all the way. Spring!!!

I thought the same thing when I tested the Sprint store model. You can feel the vibration on the back in the middle.

There is a rubbery material on the inside of the back cover. That is what makes it waterproof and that is what give the "springy" feeling.

I think im going to go to a couple stores tomorrow and test out the demo units. I think I may be just use to the htc deeper haptic feedback. If everyone experiences the "spring effect" I dont think I would worry about it.

This phone is lightning fast though!

This happened on my note 3 and s4 and s5. It's the plastic making you feel the vibration throughout the phone. Not a big deal

Ok just wanted to make sure I wasnt the only one or a rare case. My evo 3D was plastic and didnt happen :/ Im getting use to it over time.

My S4 has it. I'm sure it has something to do with the protection of the main board against drops
