I plan on getting 2015 Pure Edition. Any one know if I can just pop in the sim card from my 2013 X and be good to go?

Should be able to. Moto said it would work on all major networks and they'll both use a nano sim.

Do they both have nano sim (x1 and x3 ) or is one a micro sim ?

Whichever one they are, they're the same. I get the names mixed up

I know sometimes people have a hard time with Sprint if the phone is not sold by them. Would I have to take the phone in to have it activated or wouldn't matter because the old sim already is.
