Sprint 2600mAh vs No Brand 3500mAh...which one

Which Battery Would You Buy?

It does not make sense that a 2600mAh will last longer than a 3500mAh since the capacity of the 3500 battery is a lot more (Cell capacities are rated in ampere hours (A?h) or milliampere hours (mA?h). A 1000 mA?h battery is the same as a 1 A?h battery: both will supply 1 A for 1 hour).

I am wondering if the reason for the difference is the C rating. The C rating commonly associated with lithium ion batteries refers to the maximum current supply capability as a multiple of the cell's capacity: for instance, a 1 A?h, 20C battery should be able to supply 20 A continuously without damage.

The only other reason I can think of is that the 3500 Seidio is actually a lower mAh.

I concur with dakidd, I have the 2600mAh Sprint battery and it's lasted pretty long with heavy usage. Normally on a normal work day, the stock battery is at 50% by noon. The 2600 lasts till evening when it taps out to around 50%.

Stock battery just sucks. :p

That was the only issue that I had with my Evo. If I could have gotten better battery life, I would have kept it for sure.

i am not happy with the sprint 2600 I am getting 8 hours the most i am returning it tom. Just received my seidio 3500 today and i am hoping to get at least 10-12 hours on a charge

I bought a generic 3500 off eBay for $10...I normally get about 24 hours out of it, but due to tips I picked up in this forum I've tried keeping the WiFi on all the time when I'm at home. This weekend I just got 32 hours out of it...it pays to use WiFi instead of 3G/4G whenever you can, at least in my experience.
