Sprint Car Dock pictures

Some stores are refusing to sell accessories until they get the phones. I had to go to two. The one I got the dock from was helpful because they wanted to play with my phone. They had cases, screen protectors and the dock. I wanted the HD Media Link but they had only gotten one and sold it earlier. They ordered it for me and gave me the 20% off that and the dock.

I might need to lure them in with my EVO 4G LTE and then they may maybe they may be willing to sell me something... I'll give it a shot,

This looks pretty similar to the Evo 3D car dock. However, no more car docks for me. I had one for the Evo3D and some idiot broke into my car and caused over $2000 in paint damage just to steal an empty cell phone holder.

Guess they were looking for a small gps or something for a quick drug fix ;p. Whomever it was also broke into a nearby Porsche and got some gym clothes for their effort. There were also lots of BMWs and Mercedes in the parking garage, why did they pick my car, sigh, guess it was the shiny red color.

I'm moving from every version of Droid (1, 2, 2G, 3, 4) with amazing car docks to the One X next month and I really --- REALLY --- want a car dock for it.

Thanks for the post, had no idea these were already available. Walked over to my neighborhood Sprint store, flashed the EVO 4G LTE and asked if they had the car dock. At first they didn't think so but then another guy walked over to a cabinet and pulled one out, said they didn't have them out yet as they didn't have phones.

Seems to have the same build quality as the EVO 3D dock, specific fit although I like the top latch on the 3D dock better than this one on the LTE dock. Nice touch have the insert so you can use the dock with most cases.

I don't like how it connects with the microUSB connector; it doesn't just "drop in" like it did on the 3D dock, it takes a little work to line it up perfect to fall in, and that makes me worry that I'll put stress on the connector putting the phone in the dock. The pogo pins on the HTC One X and my Galaxy Nexus are far more elegant.

My GSM Galaxy Nexus car dock arrives on Tuesday so it will be interesting to compare the two setups. Software will the key differentiation, and I really like the look HTC Sense dock mode.The Galaxy Nexus just goes into a landscape home screen mode when I drop it in my desk dock, I'll be interested to see if it does something different when I put it in the car dock.

So I was just looking at my EVO 3D car dock (creating a bundle to sell with the phone) and just realized that it also has an insert that can be removed if you're phone has a case. The suction cup arm that attaches to the dock on the EVO 4G LTE model is a much simpler design than the arm on the EVO 3D dock and is also shorter. The latch on top that secures the phone is actually almost exactly the same, which surprised me, and I see now that it's the foam block on the latch that threw me off. The foam on the EVO 4G LTE latch is more than twice as thick as the foam on the EVO 3D latch, and that's why it doesn't "click" into place the same way.

Yes it does rotate in any direction.

My wife and I both got the Evo 4G LTE two days ago, and ours aren't rotating on the main screen. Camera and other apps rotate fine. Ideas?

Yeah, my main screen isn't rotating either... I thought I read online it would, but haven't had the time to look for it. I'm sure its in the settings...

Edit: Actually the retail price was around $57 but my wife got it for $34.99

My home screen rotated and I cut this little rubber flap off my Pink Commuter case that was covering the charging port and the phone now fits in the dock yay! I was waiting for someone to tell me if it worked for him but my coworker was pretty sure it was gonna fit and he cut it off and was right. I havent really messed with the dock app though but it looks cool. I used Custom Car Home on my 3D

The htc one x dock looks alot better. I was hoping that was the one we would be getting. the sprint one looks cheap. It looks like they rushed to get it out. I wonder if we will see a newer version of the one x dock for the evo

You can get double sided tape and a round piece of plastic the same color of your dash and make a surface for the suction cup

I bought mine today from a Sprint Store. Paid $34.99. Setup was easy. Took a few minutes. It was akward at first tryigng to get the phone lined up in the dock, but it didn't take long to figure out. YES, it can be used in portrait mode, BUT you can't be in car dock/panel mode. Car dock/panel mode seems to only work in landscape mode. Another FYI, I noticed the phone wasn't sitting flush in the dock. The end where the phone connects to the dock USB charger sits higher than the other end. There are two stickers included that can be stuck to the base of the inside of the dock where the lower end of the phone sits. This helped elevate the end of the phone that wasn't level with the USB end. Its very close to level now. So far so good. By the way, I have a simple Diztronic TPU case on my EVO LTE.

I love mine! Haven't fully messed with the car dock app that came with the phone but I am assuming I can remove things and add what I want like the Custom Car Home app I had before. I did like how I docked phone bluetooth conntected and I just checked when I came in the house and it was off. Now my friend downloaded Car Home Ultra last night and we messed with it a little and looked at a few of it's settings and I may like it. Haven't decided yet. But I when i hold down my bluetooth in my car and it says voice dialing it opened up recently called phone numbers. When it's not in dock mode it opens up google voice search and I thought it was better than when I had my 3D but it doesn't work good when driving which is ok. But I love the dock had the same Sprint one for my 3D. But now I want a seidio home dock and wish they would make one already. Glad I cut the little rubber flap off my pink Otterbox cause it fits now and will charge.
