Sprint Cox HTC Desire

With Cox releasing the Desire today does anybody think that Sprint will as well considering Cox is using Sprints network ?

Desire will be a mid-tier device in Sprint's line-up. I wonder why it didn't make the list for Sprint. Maybe because HTC doesn't want to run Sprint ID like all the other Sprint mid-tier Android phones do?
