Sprint data is always slow for me.

Is Sprints data speeds slow for everyone else? I recently did some speed tests with speedtest.net app and I had full bars with 3g service. My speeds were:
down-907 Up- 567
420 610
939 621
580 674
690 646
774 668

Today I was with a person with an Iphone and we both did test.
I did two test with her phone and both downloads were 2.6 or 2.7
I had my best at 1.7

I then turned on 4G and got 3.0

My speeds seem extremely slow for 3g and 4g. Does anyone else feel like Sprints 3g is not even close to any other carriers or is it just me?

Mine vary greatly too, for the most part I get around 500 for both up and down.

I just did one here at home... 491 down and 616 up. Weird, huh?

No problem here.. 4g user at all times - don't know much about 3g speed.

Sprint 3G rarely ever goes above 1mb. So don't expect more then what your getting. That's about what I get in Phoenix. At&t has a much faster 3G network then Sprint does.

I get about 1.2 or so with Sprint and I think that Sprint is faster then at&t

I'm getting about 2.5 on 4g (very poor signal) at work and only 507 up. That's about what I normally get and 4g is always turned on.

4g for me just kills the battery. To me its pretty sad I have to turn on 4g just to get what other carriers are getting on 3g.

I'd be happy to get those speeds. I'm usually 100-200 kbps if I'm lucky with full bars. I can get good speed on the offhours though like at 4am.

I'm using my Nextel Blackberry until I upgrade to the Evo shift, so my Iden data speed are terrible. But I do use a sprint broadband card when I'm on the go and my speeds are usually sub-par but efficient. I would say on average my speed is around 0.9mbps to 1.2mbps, which is not terrible but not great. I'm assuming since my card and my new device (2 weeks away!) are both on the same network I should get similar data speeds.

My data speeds average about 800kbps. Max was 1700 once, but my fastest is usually 980 or so, and sometimes it crawls to dial-up speeds. All in the same room of my house.

Consistency isn't Sprint's strongest point...at least not here. The upside is it's not capped at a pathetically low 2GB. At 2.7mbps, you'd chew through that in no time.
