Sprint G2, One Up, Bestbuy

From what I understand:
Option 1) go to Bestbuy where I can buy phone for $99 and continue my $450/Unlimited for $80 per month (with 4G surcharge, but excluding taxes). Get AAA $10 discount from bill. So $70 per month.
Option 2) go to Sprint corporate store and buy phone for $199 and get the One Up plan for $65 and have option of upgrading phone every 12 months. Not sure if AAA discount would apply.
Actually, the One Up sounds good to me. I have to travel about an hour to these stores so I thought I would first check here with the experts.

Not sure of the "Expert" status, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

If you "One Up" all you pay is the sales tax on the phone's full MSRP and any activation fee. You are not buying or upgrading. You are basically leasing the phone.
Take the MSRP and divide it by 24, as in months on an 2 year contract. That is what you will be billed per month.
Subtract $15.00 from that as it is a credit for using One Up.

Ex: $549.99 MSRP. Divide by 24 = $22.92 minus $15.00 credit = $7.92 USD.
You will be charged $7.92 per month on your bill.
Multiply that by 12 (months) = $95.04 USD.
At the end of the 12 months, you give back that device, get a new one and it starts all over.

One Up is only available at Sprint Corporate Strores.

Whatever discount you have will remain in effect.

I am going to use the One Up program when I get my G2 next week.

I went with the One Up, and I like what I have done. I would call ahead to the corporate store to see if the discount can apply.

I have a corporate discount where I work, and through an online chat (and verified on some press release or FAQ on Sprint's site), I was told that on the new plans, discounts apply to the data charge, not the plan charge.

my local sprint store offers One Up and they are not a corporate store... strange no? unless they switched to one?
