Sprint galaxy S10 5G signal is active in NYC Queens

The S10 5G Signal in NYC Queens is active. The speeds from 4G LTE are to 5G are huge. No loading time on youtube and or chrome websites that used to take forever.

That's slower than some 4g. I think they simply activated the icon or you'd be up near gig speed.

"The International Telecommunication Union (the ITU) and the 3GPP officially defined a “4G” network as providing a 100 Mbps data rate when moving and a 1 Gpbs (or one gigabit) while stationary"

So, label it as they may, it's not 5th generation, it's 4th, regardless of the little icon.

Agreed but it's Sprint, just turned on and probably lacking adequate backhaul at the moment.
