Sprint Galaxy S4: Kitkat Update Screen Problem

Aymanovic, unless this happened in the last month (and I do not remember receiving a Samsung update in that period), I find it hard to believe they fixed the issue. I have listed above what is going on, and, I assure you, I am almost neurotic about keeping my phone up to date.

There was a new update pushed by Samsung , now everything is fixed and working perfectly.

I just got the update pushed to me from Sprint and since then everything has been working great also. Something tells me that something in these Google security patches fixed the lock screen.

I just ditched my flip cover and my phone is back to normal. What a waste of money and I really liked the cover but something is horribly wrong with it.

I just updated my S4 with Kitkat today & now when my screen turns off, it won't turn back on & I have to pull the battery. Sprint was absolutely no help. Anyone else having this problem? I'd like to roll back to jellybean, but the insurrections I've found are too difficult for me to figure out. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Turn off power saving. That resolved it for me.

I have the same problem with my S4 Mini right now after update 4.4.2 a few days ago.
Which version of 4.4.2 help to solve this problem?
I live in Turkey and 4.4.2 Turkey has same problem, maybe i can try another update from another country
