Sprint htc one m8 lollipop update changes

Does seem quicker, and I like the notifications too. Didn't like chrome tabs being moved to recent apps, don't even know why anyone would like that, but I turned it off.

Anyone else seeing battery life issues?

One change I haven't seen anyone mention is the animation for the back, home, and recent apps buttons. Seems much more fitting for lollipop. Very minor but just something I noticed.

I don't know if this is an issue with everyone, after the update, but on my lock screen, i have noticed that I can't figure out how to change the lock screen widget. It has the time there, but says weather unavailable. I believe we should be able to add, or change the lock screen widgets, but I, for the life of me, can not figure out how.

I used to swipe right to unlock screen (Blinkfeed disabled). Now I have to swipe up. No way to change this? Old habits are hard to break!

Whoops, hit thanks instead of reply. I'm not rejoicing in your tech problems I assure you. Does weather work on the HTC home screen clock and weather widget?

I use a pattern unlock, since update now I have to swipe up, than put my pattern in. Before, I would just wake phone and put pattern. Basically have extra step now. Any ideas how to get rid of it??

Two problems I discovered this morning. Unable to connect to wifi at work. Bigger problem is the horrible battery life on my Moto 360. Went from fully charged at 7 am today to 37% at 9 am. First restarted watch, then reset, but it doesn't appear to help. Next thing may be a phone reset tonight. Sigh...

I now have the htc flashlight back which I didn't have before and you can give your letters a higher contrast which I had never noticed before.

Today's battery life looks much better in my watch:

I know adding 5.0 on my phone added some additional functionality on my watch (enhanced ways to block certain notifications, for instance), so maybe that was the reason for the horrible battery life on it yesterday. Hopefully returning to normal.

Otherwise, 5.0 is working flawlessly for me. Notifications are very different, but I think I'll get used to it.

Even better battery on my 360 today. I pulled the Google Play Services update via apk mirror last night, and I think it makes a huge difference.
