Sprint Lollipop!

Fellow users, Greetings
I just got upgraded to 5.01. This update supposed to have multi user feature but for the life of me I can't find it. Also, the quick menu does not have flash light either. Is this the same as the last major update where htc left out some Google features? Am I missing some hidden menu buried in the phone? Please advice.
Thanks and best regards,

Downloading and installing the update now in Atlanta on my HK edition... 0800 EST

Got it this morning at 8:15 am. I was just waking up and saw the notification. I'm going to wait until I see more HK edition user's posts before I lick lollipop

I have the reminders set to on and I chose the Lilac sound, yet it doesn't use it. I tries toggling through a few but it chooses some soft sound even though it shows I have Lilac chosen. Any ideas how to get this to change? I work in construction and the default sound is too quiet for me ever to hear.

Just downloaded my update for my Sprint M8 HK Edition in Utah. I wasn't notified, so I had to check manually, but the first check was a winner.

Time to see how it works so I can decide if I keep this or keep my G3.

No trouble so far with the HK edition with lollipop. I'm running nova launcher, so I've got no clue how the standard launcher might be acting. I also have been running lollipop on my nexus 7 for a while, so I'm used to the new look and the notification schemes. In summary, AOK for now...

P.S. for now, I did a straight OTA update, no cache clearing, no factory reset. Again, things seem to be working just dandy.

I am noticing if I play any music or podcast, even if it's on the device already my battery drains quicker than ever.

So far it's running smooth. I just reactivated it and turned off the G3 for now.

Disappointed to see that they (HTC or Sprint) did not opt to clean up the notification bar. It's still 2/3 of the way full without needing to be. It would be nice if you could select what perpetual notifications you want to see. And damnit Sprint, consolidate your LTE, Spark, and signal bars into one friggin icon!!!

Sorry, had to vent. Otherwise, it's looking good. :D

Anybody know the difference between these two connections optimizers?

I found this: HTC and Android 5.0: How well has Lollipop been integrated? - Pocket-lint

What don't you get?

There's no provision for multiple users. This is one of stock Android's strengths - if you want want quickly share your phone with someone else, they can have their own profile, so your stuff remains secure.

This is ideal for kids, where they can (from the lock screen even) access their own area of the device. HTC instead has a Kid Mode, but we much prefer the option for a separate user identity, where an administrator gets full controls.

Android's new battery saver option also isn't a part of the HTC update and we're not surprised: HTC already had a better system and it remains the same as it did before, where you're able to specify what elements battery saver will use to conserve power.

Naturally the dialer is HTC's, as it was before and so is the People app to handle your contacts. Both are reasonable, the only thing we miss is Android's caller ID, where it identifies calls based on it's own databases so you get fewer anonymous callers.

Is anyone else having an issue with the stock browser? Every time I exit out from it and do something else, when I go back it resets. The previous sites and tabs I had are gone and it reverts back to the homepage everytime.

Everything seems smooth. I don't have any issues that I can see so far..Other than the notifications, I'm not seeing much change....

Installed for HK edition this morning. Running smoother than KK. I see no difference in battery performance.
