Sprint Mobile Hotspot device faster than embedded card in Sprint Galaxy Tab

I have a Sprint Mifi on a regular 3G data plan. If I turn on my Sprint Galaxy Tab's wifi and connect to the Sprint Mifi, I get very good speeds surfing the web. For example, I can fully load up the Sprint webpage in about 10-15 seconds. If I turn the wifi off on the tab and surf to the same page on Tab's internal 3G card, it takes almost 2 minutes to load. Any thoughts on this?

Correction: I was using my Verizon Mifi. Its service is much faster than Sprints embedded 3G card.

It appears that the network service was the culprit, not the hardware. Both my Tab's internal Sprint card and Sprint Mifi are getting about 1/3 of the speeds that my Verizon Mifi is getting.

I guess the network speed makes up for the reported lagginess of the Verizon tab. Just sayin
