Sprint Outages in the Austin TX Area

I just wanted to let anyone in the Austin TX area know that Sprint has been having outages here since roughly Friday. As of this morning, the issues have not been resolved, but they are working on it.

The outages have been causing my phones to drop calls, go into roaming in areas that generally have a strong Sprint signal, and lose 3g and 4g signals all together.

The customer service representative is hopeful that the issues will be resolved within the next 24 hours.

I called this morning about 8:30CST and was told that the problem would be fixed in 5 hours (about 13:30CST). Let's hope the estimate I was given is closer to correct than the one you got.
