If your doing just a regular update yes. QPST is if you want modified or custom prl's. Right now I am using 12121 prl but there are many others. 11119 & 11114 are good ones too. All allow 3G roaming on Verizon.

Speaking of PRLs, does anyone know of a technique that allows you to keep a custom PRL on a stock-based ROM from being automatically updated? I was on 11115 on Kraven's CM7 before switching to HydroROM, and my PRL was upgraded to 60686 without any prompt after I switched.

I'm considering flashing 12121, but figure it'll just be automatically replaced with 60687 soon afterward. I know this isn't a problem for AOSP-based peeps.

I just went through this yesterday and no it doesn't work, I was able to get it (msl) using cdma workshop pretty easily.

I jcalled sprint and told them I was developing a program (app) and needed the msl for field tests. I found that method the easiest.
