Sprint Repair List for Epic

I took my Epic wednesday before thanksgiving day for repair as the keyboard was gettin stuck and had trouble opening it. I took it to a sprint corporate store and they said i had to file a claim the tech didnt even look at it A$$HOLE. They wanted me to pay 100 bucks instead of trying to align the keyboard. So I went to another store a retailer and they tried to fix it but broke it in the process of puttin it together so they ordered me another one. Got it on black friday and works like new. It came with froyo but got the GB udpate within hours. BUT the sms bug still there i sent 3 texts to my girlfriend and my brother got all of them.

Back in November, 2011 when the android upgraded from froyo to gingerbread, my phone would randomly hang up on people mid-call so I took it to the service center to have the update removed. Since doing that, I have not received any updates at all. Here is the current info about my phone:

Model #: SPH-D700

Firmware version: 2.2.1

Baseband version: S :D700.05S.DK28

Kernel version: 2.6.32.9

Build number FROYO.DK28

Hardware version: D700.0.5

What I would like to know is how I can get all of the updates that have occured since Nov.?

Can I skip to the final one or do I need to apply all of the updates in order?

How can I manually update?

And, will my phone ever update automatically again?

Thanks!

I have a S2 and I cant seem to call or text. I WiFi is wonderfully fast and every other function is laser fast. I am baffled. Help anyone??
