Sprint repair wiped my s7 edge, help

Hi everyone,

I have an s7 edge, the screen went on the fritz and was onyl displaying the top half....took it to Sprnt who said they had to send in to get fixed. Never told me I should back up and of course, lied to me, they sentit to assurion not to Samsung like they said they would. Charged me $200 as I did not have insurance, BTW......

Long story short, lost ALL contacts. I am stupid I know, I never backed up to google because the store and steal our information, I did have an sd card in there, could not find my contacts....phone is not rooted...

Can anyone help me with trying to get the contacts and possibly old texts back? I had alot of work contacts on there and now I am lost.

Hey Nick, welcome to the forums mate! With no backup, I can only suggest you get a phone bill and try to sort who all the numbers are from that... Email those contacts you have email address for theirs...
Ask the ones you can see in person..

Slow and laborious perhaps, but at least you get some back...

Perhaps an old phone will have some of them also...
I'm with you about Google collecting all your data.

You didn't backup to Samsung or Google? Because they steal and sell your contacts?

Not much you can do at this point.

thanks, will see how many names I can associte with random numbers...and get an app to back up to sd card..

You ought to be able to retrieve the information from your sd card. Call the company that your phone was made by and talk to a tech. They should feesably have the information for you
