OK strike that. I figured out the problem. You have to enable your HD calling for 4G to remain on during calls. You don't have to make the HD call but you have to have that feature enabled. To find it, go to settings, advanced calling, activate advanced calling. Once it's activated, you can choose to turn HD calls on or off. I understand that they do use data so making calls while on WiFi is fine but if you're limited on data plan, I would suggest disabling it when calling via 4g

Very true but some may not understand it (as in not knowing how they did the radios in the past versus now and why).. So no harm in asking.
