Sprint TriBand LTE issue.

LTE *SPARK or whatever they call this tri band capacity is only live in what 4 or 5 markets right now? I've been a LONG time Sprint customer and I got my Nexus 5 unlocked from the Play store.. My contract is up in March and I might consider moving to another carrier until they get this "Network Vision" thing all figured out... Crazy when I can only get 2 - 3 mbps on LTE with Sprint and friends on Verizon and AT&T can get upwards of 10 mbps and higher on LTE in the same locations.. Granted I do pay a lot less but with an unlocked device I can at least go dirt cheap prepaid (or at least try them out) Hopefully between now and March (at least in the Dallas Texas area) Sprint gets their network vision up and running much much better and I'll just stay with them..

This article sums up the issue I'm having on my Nexus 5 for sprint. No LTE showing up for me even though I'm in a LTE area. Going back to my Note 3 for now. May return the Nexus 5.

I wouldn't do that. Consensus opinion on s4gru.com is that this issue is cleared up inside of 60 days. Every day sites are being finished and the issue goes away on that site.

Understandable. Just hate to be stuck with a brand new device without LTE.

I live in a market that hasn't had the LTE upgrade finished yet. Except for travel I'm strictly a Sprint customer on 3G. The Nexus 5 is still an awesome phone. There is enough WiFi around to help me out for the 30-60 days I have to wait. Been with Sprint for 12 years. Another month isn't going to break me.
