Sprint Unveils New Device at NYC..

Right, I think the idea is promising. If it were to be supported by an official software release [and hardware from a more reputable manufacturer], this could be a neat step into a different direction for phones.

Why would they dip into a design that throws them back a few years? With the technology that's available today, why two screens with a .250 gap in between them? Am I supposed to try and imagine it's not there? I think I need to hire Mr. Blaine back to teach me that trick..

Who on earth would want a phone that flips open like a freakin transformer? They need to sale their "6 patent" hinge to a laptop company because it has no place to be on a CELL PHONE! Have we not learned anything in the past 10+ years?

It frustrates me to no end as to why a company would try to throw this into a market and rip people off. Expensive hardware that jacks up the price of a poor design phone. Yes it stimulates our imagination but a year from now, probably less than that, we should start seeing flexible displays. The graduate students at my school mess around with these and do some really cool stuff.

No, you're supposed to simply not buy it if it doesn't meet your needs. Drama not required.... I don't scream about how ridiculous Hummers are - I just buy a car that's better for me.

Again, simply not buying it would alleviate your frustrations. If someone else buys it and likes it, they're not being ripped off.
