Can't believe it costs 349 on contract though, maybe we get the 64 gb version for that kind of coin?

Hopefully it will be at best buy right away.

It's 32, not 64, specs are listed on their newsroom article. Wonder if there will be a rebate lol. Anyway, @ $350 and with only uniband LTE I think I'm getting a nexus 5 and doing business elsewhere.

Sprint pulled the same **** with the S4. Screw over long time existing customers in order to entice new customers with 100 dollars off when they sign up.

Lol good job Sprint.. Way to hold customers!

I live in Los Angeles area code (818). What would be the best carrier to buy this on?

I've been with Sprint for over 10 years. I have been on the fence about leaving though to be fair I was probably going to anyway but if there was any doubt it is now completely erased!

It's pretty ridiculous, also, no word out of best buy yet as far as when they will have it and when they will accept pre orders. I hope they won't pull the same crap like last year when it took yet another 2 weeks for the phone to become available from them.

I'd really like to go in day one to get this phone but I can wait until it drops to the normal price of every other carrier. I'm still weighing the option for my current plan and discount compared to the one up discounted plan.

I'm getting it on the one up program.

If you have an older plan with a discount, check your math on things. For the Note 3 (assuming $800 MSRP just like AT&T and Verizon if you're going through Best Buy), with an Everything Data 450 minutes and my 25% discount (which is applied to the 70 dollar plan and not the 10 dollar premium data fee), my bill currently is around $70 after taxes.

Here's the breakdown if I were to upgrade like I typically do (around 16 months):

Current plan buying the Note 3:

Plan ($62.50 monthly)
ETF ($150.00)
Note 3 ($349.99)
Trade in at best buy with trade in plus ($225.00)

Total = ~$1025.00 after 12 months, ~$1775.00 after 24 months.

New plan:

Plan ($47.50 monthly)
Note 3 (~$33.50 monthly)

Total = ~$972.00 after 12 months, ~$1944.00 after 24 months.

This is also assuming they keep the $15 discount for the life of your stay with Sprint. For me, I'd rather not chance that and pay relatively the same with my current plan. I use an average of 30 minutes a month out of my 450, so I don't need unlimited minutes.

This was done after calling Sprint Customer Service and speaking with a friendly, helpful woman. I asked if my discount (25%) applied to the discount one up unlimited plan, if my discount was also applied onto the phone cost per month, and my ETF if I upgraded the first week of October.

My answers were that my discount is applied to the data portion of the plan ($30 instead of $70) and then the $15 is deducted for the combination of new my way unlimited + one up, any employee discount or corporate discount you have doesn't apply to the phone monthly cost, and my ETF at month 16 is $150. She checked with some people just to make sure, so I'm confident with the answers I received and plan on sticking with my current plan option and not going to the One Up plan.

I definitely want this phone but I wasn't expecting the 349 price tag.
