Anyone have this figured out, or an app to use to get visual; voicemail? I am not even getting voicemail notifications to dial in to get the messages. I have a Pixel 2 XL, on Sprint obviously. This is actually my second Pixel 2 XL, dog broke the first one, but I am having the same issue on both phones.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was, but I turned it off when I got my original Pixel XL. Any ideas? Also any way to do visual voicemail?

Ok, so I went and deleted my Google Voice number, I wasn't using it anyway. I then had a friend call me and leave a voicemail. I didn't get a missed call notification or a voicemail notification.

You have to call Sprint and have them delete the Google voice account, that's the easiest way. It's happened to me multiple times. Calling Sprint is the easiest.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.

Call and have sprint delete conditional call forwarding to your Google Voice number. THe word conditional is important there. Then you should be able to install Sprint VV and get it to work.

I did that and now I can use the Voicemail of my choice. I still use my GV number to make international calls, but my voicemail is not separate from GVoice.

I was having the same problem, an hour on the phone with the late night support got me nowhere. I googled: "sprint voicemail can't leave message" and I found the answer. I dialed all three of the numbers and then had the wife call and voila, she could finally leave voicemail and I could retrieve.

I cut the following from the Sprint Forum:

1) *720 (send)

2) *730 (send)

3) *740 (send)

This disables any call forwarding blocking access to your voicemail...

It worked for me, but I still have to dial "1" to get my VM...I saw a post on the Sprint Forum complaining about the lack of VV and one of the moderators replied and said they were working on making that available for the Pixel--I'm not holding my breath.
