at&T's home internet data cap and if you go over its big bucks
INSPIRE AOKP ICE COLD SANDWICH ROM![]()
I've been a DSL customer of AT&T since 2008 -- and I've never come close to going over. Here's what's connected to me:
First off, I have a Buffalo DDWRT router (high power) that is repeated at my neighbors next-door to me...with a Linksys E4200 with DDWRT custom firmware on it. So my neighbors surf the web (that's all they use it for is web surfing) on my connection.
On the Buffalo High-power router, this is what's connected to it (both wired and wireless) and I've had all this stuff for 3+ years connected to my DSL.. :
Dish Hopper receiver, Desktop computer, laptop, kindle fire, iPod, Vonage box, Sprint Airave (Airvana 2.0 with 2.5 coming tomorrow to replace the current one), Toshiba 55" LED 3D for Vudu etc, Samsung 46" LCD, PS3 with DMZ...a Netgear N600 with 500GB drive attached for file server, 2 Samsung Galaxy S3 phones...and my Acer Iconia 10.1" tablet.
I think that's all ...the only thing that hasn't been connected for 2+ years or more is the Toshy TV and the SGS3 and the Iconia. Other than that, I've played games nearly 3-4 days a week for the past 8 months..ALWAYS on Battlefield 3 playing online with people...using LOTS of bandwidth...plus the phone calls that Vonage and Sprint Airave use up...but I still never get close to 100gb a month. I'm usually right around 65gb to 75gb a month.
