Sprints Crapware is getting updated...

Could this be a sign of Android 4.0 coming to our HTC Evo 3D's?

I know that its coming. I just wonder when! I sorta look forward to it...BUT I might just make the jump and root my phone already with the 1.5 Hboot. I hate crapware...

Sprint Google Wallet, Nascar app and a few more are getting updates this morning.

I also received an email from Sprint and one of the subjects was on how to check for software updates and how to go about it. Update must be coming soon.

Thats what I was pretty much thinking. 4.0 will be nice I hope. I am also thinking of just rooting soon too.

I don't think so. I uninstalled all updates on the bloat to save space months ago, and I never got a notice to reinstall the updates. But since the Play Store update, I've been getting update notices for Sprint bloat. I think there the Play Store "My Apps" section must handle bloat updates differently than the Market did.

I'm totally making this up and maybe it's completely dumb, but it makes sense to me. (I hope I'm wrong.)

I think you are right about this. My experience is identical

I agree. The new google TOS was not real good imo. You had to agree to allow apps to auto update it the app sees fit...

I agree! That was BS IMO. Looks like the root will be happening for me! Then I can flash the ROM and get rid of the crapware.

Either way it looks like 4.0 should be coming soon I hope.
