Sprint's LG G2: Official KitKat Tips, Tricks, Traps, Problems, Concerns, LIkes, Dislikes Thread.

That's interesting. I know a lot of people have been calling it a SwiftKey crash on boot, but it may not be then. Lol

I was having the same problem....uninstalled SwiftKey and it stopped. Has anyone been able to find a work around because SwiftKey is, in my opinion, the best keyboard out there.

It's just, an on boot crash. There doesn't appear to be any other issues. You'd be better off just tolerating the crash.

Yeah, I put it back...it's just one of those nuances that drive me nuts. While I've got you here...have you found a Custom Recovery that works since the OTA?

No, I haven't I'm afraid. If anything you should head over to xda. I'm sure they'd have better information since that forum is all about that sort of thing.

I was looking there earlier. Apparently they haven't been able to find the Loki Exploit yet. Looks like it's fun with Xposed for a while then.

(Yes I just quoted myself :p ) If you're Rooted. Using Xposed, G2 Tweek Box (and a few other Xposed type apps I found in the Play Store and on XDA) I'm not really sure if their will ever be a need for a custom ROM, I can simply tweak the phone exactly the way I want.
*Note: Some of the feature are still being worked on but there are enough to keep me busy and having fun for weeks!

Then let's get back on topic.

I would love to give my impressions of KK, but I need to get it first. ;)

How is everyone liking theirs?

Definitely enjoying it. Phone is faster, battery life is even better. Just wish we got some of the other cool stuff of kitkat.

Has anyone found Aspect Ratio option under any of the settings? Certain older apps I have are unplayable since kitkat.

Loving the fact that any launcher I use has transparent navbar now.

Nope, they must have removed it, which was a bad decision -_-

Okay...immersive mode DOES work. But not with the Kindle app, the Polaris app. I had to look up a document and when it download it opened in Polaris and showed the document full screen with a quick message showing how to bring back the top and bottom of the screen. So immersive mode just doesn't work with Kindle. Bummer...
