My data usage hasn't increased at all from what I was using with my HTC one in the 10 days I've had the G2.

Not something I'd blame on the phone if it did, you're carrier is the one that limits your data. I'd think about switching if I were you

Also, aren't there apps that meter your data usage and can tell you what they're coming from? You probably have some app set up to sync a lot of media or something and don't know it.

Just had a useless Best Buy experience. So went to a local BB store to get a hands on look at the G2 (Sprint Version). After playing around with it a bit I walked away from the Mobile dept and then came back a few minutes later. I asked the first available associate if the Sprint G2 was still planned for November 8th. Her response "I have no idea", that was it, no "let me check" "I believe that is the release date", nothing. How disappointing for somebody taht is supposed to know. really I already knew the date anyway..I was just phishing to see if they've heard a bump up date or anything.

Unfortunately that's been my experience everywhere. I went in an AT&T store and told them I wanted to see the G2 and he said they don't carry that phone. I had to walk him over to the phone and say this is it right here. No clue. Pathetic.

Nothing against Best Buy, but I work at a Sprint Authorized Dealer in the same parking lot, and I constantly have promlems that they have caused with their customers. They dont work on comission. Alot of people think its a bad thing, but I have a vested interest in my customers.... they also sell all carriers, so its hard to keep up with the specifics of a particular carriers phones, plans, etc...

I know what you mean. I ordered mine on the 12th and I'm dying. I've already called Best Buy 5 times. Tried even calling a warehouse of theirs in Texas trying to get someone on the phone who didn't know what they were doing so they would ship it early lol.

Wish I knew someone on the inside.

Just read an article that a truck with 22,500 Sprint G2s was stolen in Indiana last night. Lol

Hope this doesn't slow my receiving this phone. On a side note if I saw that truck I might have done the same thing.

If any are activated, Sprint will know it.
They can't sell them overseas as they probably will not work.

They probably just saw a chance to steal a truck and ended up with a bunch of useless inventory. Probably recover the truck in a day or two. I just don't need something else to slow down my wait for this phone

Got my Spigen SlimArmor case in the mail today. Now if ProClip would just announce a mount for the G2 I'd be set. Oh wait....still need the phone..

if im not mistaken Reliance is one cdma carrier but thats in India lol.. you would need to unlock the phone program imei #'s using diff phone to get it to work on sprint.

Now just under 9 (nine) days until release. I am planning to leave work early that day and hit up my local Corporate Store to grab one for my very own. Black, of course.
It is rather depressing to carry around the empty OtterBox case I already have received.
Patience is not one of my better character traits. Not sure which is.
