In my zeal to remove Sprint apps that I didn't want I accidentally got rid of SprintTV. Anyone know where I can get a current apk? Also, if someone could be so kind as to check what version number is installed on their phone I'd be greatly appreciative.

You need to install a file manager such as Astro. Navigate to your download folder and click on the file. Make sure allow unknown sources is checked in your settings.

Download ASTRO File Manager.

Open it. Tap "Up" button until it doesnt take you any further. (the root of the phone, dangerous fields to play with)

Open the "system" folder. Open the "app" folder, scroll ALL the way until you see SprintTVStub_Signed.

That's an apk. Tap it, Tap "Open App Manager" and re-install.

The reason it says INSTALLED is because it was never uninstalled ... The bloatware that every thinks they uninstalled is simply "hidden" ... Hidden where I don't know but from what I read it's still working in the background.

Don't need Sprint TV bad enough to do that. Thanks for the help. BTW, it was interesting to see that apps I deleted were there...

They haven't been fully removed, but they aren't running sucking up CPU and RAM.

Uninstall it... you should see a launch button along with uninstall, click launch which will go to update... update it and it should be back.
