Two years for damage is $40 for 8gb and $50 for 16gb. Staples rxtended only gives store credit.

I purchase this when I bought my Kindle Fire. After reading the entire document in full I decided there were so many loopholes in it for them to get out of honoring the contract that even if I had kept my Kindle, I would have returned the warranty.

I purchased mine from google directly. Walmart offers an extended warranty for the item purchased through them. Do you have a link for the right sqaretrade? I have purchased 3rd party warranties before but never used them through ebay. I got a squaretrade through costco on my costco tv thanks!

SquareTrade was great for me when I dropped my Asus Transformer. I'd only had it 2 weeks. The glass wasn't available within the 7 days they give themselves for repairs, so they sent me a check for the full amount of purchase. I was very, very impressed. - sheureka

I opted for the squaretrade warranty, especially because I was able to get 2 years of coverage for $35 with a coupon. For that price I couldn't pass it up.

One time use coupon code? Or is there a code currently out there?
I used the code nexus10 today and received $10.00 off the two year plan for a total cost of $29.99 (the regular price was $39.99). I am not sure when the code will expire. Also, if you just go to squaretrade.com without using the /nexus7 it doesn't have the option of choosing the nexus 7 under the tablets. I am not sure why it is like that. Hope this helps.

P.S. I have the 8 gb Nexus 7 the 16 gb warranty is $49.99 which minus the $10.00 it is $39.99 still a good buy.

There is a note on their sites that says tablet warranties must be bought within 30. I bought mine at 32 days and didn't have a problem.
I had a coupon and got it with accidental for 35 for 2 years. I'd say it's worth it with reading how sensitive it is to even small drops. Let's see if warranty replacement or repair is as easy as they make it sound. But hopefully I never have to use it.

I looked around on Squaretrade's website to find the states where they had a physical office located. In the United States their offices are located in California, therefore if my understanding is correct, they will charge state tax on any policy sold to people that live in California. I don't know if that is where you live, but I just thought I would put this information out there for anyone who wants to know.
