SquareTrade warranty/protection plan?

Hi I was wondering if anyone on here has purchased a warrany/protection plan from SquareTrade on there cell phone?
I am contemplating going with AT&T protection plan vs going with SquareTrade.

I have 2 devices (Samsung S6 Active & Apple iPhone 6S).

AT&T costs are:
Each device monthly- $6.99
Deductible per claim- $199

SquareTrade costs are:
Each device (2 year plan/family plan)- $89
Deductible per claim- $75

Any opinions on this matter?

I assume no one has used these warranties from?

I still have 30 days from the point of purchase to purchase the warranty. I'll keep an eye on these to see if anyone has any input.
