I did a search and there are several battery draining threads, but this seems to be a little different than the others.
About 3 days ago, I noticed that the battery wouldn't even last a full day at work or through the night when it's on standby. It was plugged in over night, 100% charge in the morning. Unplugged it, checked my e-mail and then set it down to go to work. So it was at about 98% when I left, 10 hours or so later, it was completely dead! Charged it back up to about 75% that night before I went to bed. Unplugged it again, and when I got up in the morning it was dead again! That is so weird! I used to be able to go days without charging it.
It is the Tab S 9.7 with AT&T LTE, and I leave cell and wifi on pretty much all the time, but never had an issue until now. I checked the battery settings, but since it dies completely, it doesn't show what was running before I restarted. Annoying. I also went through and un-installed some apps I either don't use or are notorious for battery usage, like Samsung+. Also cleared the cache. Nothing has helped so far...
Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks!
