I have to say that I am EXTREMELY impressed with the standby time for 5.1.1. The auto stop feature makes a world of difference. I fell asleep and checked my battery and woke up to this graph. I'm impressed considering I used to lose around 15-20% when I slept

Wow. That's cool. I guess I have to wait for Verizon to roll out the 5.11 update and hope they don't disable that function.

Same here here with At&t. I don't get what the hold up is but I'd love to get the update to fix some of these issues in Lollipop

Ah, yes, it's really helpful! I left my phone alone to sleep for about 10 hours, and I only lost 4% of battery in that period.

It's definitely my favorite feature of 5.1.1. It allows you to select the apps to auto stop as you can see and then after ten minutes of non use it will stop them from running in the background. This has been helpful for me not just for standby time but to find rogue apps that continue to run in the background despite my having selected them to autistic

Now if only the Canadian Carriers would hurry up and release the 5.1.1 update. This is the only reason I am looking forward to the update

It seems like Sprint removed the auto stop feature on 5.1.1. Has anyone else seen differently? Why would they have removed that?

At least you aren't still waiting like AT&T users for the 5.1.1 update.

Well, as expected Verizon disabled this feature on their update to 5.1.1
Very disappointed. At least I had good battery life already. Hopefully that remains the case now that I'm running 5.1.1

I think the feature is tied into the Smart Manager application and the US carriers all stripped that out, I think. It really sucks since Lollipop just tends to let applications run rampant but at least M will bring doze, which I think does close to the same thing that this does or at least the end result is the same.

Of course it's debatable if we'll get Android M before the S7 comes out so it's all just a wash pretty much.

I have that feature on t-mobile and use it but the battery life is really poor (not stand by time but actual usage)

For those of you with 5.1.1 that the carriers left this out, try Doze- For Better Battery Life from the Play Store. This app is from the ShutApp developer and seems to be part of the job, it turns off data from selected apps while the screen is off.
